Labor Day Weekend Event

[From Ed and Sue Kearney] Ed and I are excited to invite you to attend the 19th annual Festival of Tents this Labor Day weekend. If you haven't already heard the Festival is a large campout of Christians from around the Northwest. The main speaker this year is Floyd McClung. If you know Floyd nothing else needs to be said and if you don't you will be in for a treat. Hear ye ! 69th Street Hosts Baptism

Baptism 69th Street Fellowship is planning a baptism on September 7th and you're invited to join in the celebration. Nicole Adams is getting baptized and if you or someone you know would like to do the same, just let us know. Tentatively, the we will be meeting at Lewisville Park, near Battle Ground, WA.

Keep 'em Home - 41st Brigade Belongs in Oregon

I've gotten to the point that I can't remain silent any longer. Caleb and 3500 other Oregon National Guard soldiers are being deployed, many for the second time, to Iraq. I'm joining the Campaign to Keep the Oregon Guard in Oregon. The effort empowers the governor to withhold Oregon Guard units except under certain conditions.

Visitor from Israel

A friend from Israel, named Tali, is in the area for the month of September. She is planting a fellowship in Yafo (near Tel Aviv). She wants to visit local house churches. She is also willing to share the condition of the church in Israel. She also does "worship dance." Get in touch with me if you'd like her to come visit your fellowship.
