Prayer for Wisdom

Brethren, I could use some prayer for wisdom here.

As you may know I've been teaching on a weekly basis for over a year now at a church called MacArthur Blvd. Christian Church in Vancouver. I've been having a great time, really, because I love to teach through the word and, even though I can't imagine doing church outside of a small, simple and committed community, I also have a great love for the church no matter what form it takes.

Here's where I need prayer: The congregation at Mac really needs more help than I'm giving right now. While I have already made it clear that my responsibilities and convictions regarding ecclesiology won't permit me to come along as a "pastor" in the traditional sense, I do want to serve the church in any way that will bring health to the body of Christ in Vancouver. They, also, are open to me being more involved in the congregation. Please pray for me, and advise me about this. I will be meeting with their elders to explore how I might serve them most effectively.

Please know that I can't change how I'm working among the house churches or the prayer movement, these things are a clear part of my assignment from the Lord. But I may be able to help a struggling congregation find their footing and move into the next phase of their life as part of the Body. As far as that goes, some of you may be able and willing to help me serve them. Their is no greater honor to extend to the Bridegroom than to show respect and concern for His bride, no matter where she's found.

Please pray for me and advise. Your comments are welcome.

Thanks.
