Moving in, moving out

I brought good news this past week to 69th St. House... I have successfully achieved a new position as a L&D RN @ PPMC in Portland.  My last week at SWMC was last week (he he) and it was a quick and fond farewell.  My shift and hours stay the same, so Jillian will be our nanny for sometime now!  I don't think she minds, I know Liam sure doesn't.  He points to the ambulance on his puzzle and says "Jiyen" all the time!

We are excited about so many aspects of this opportunity, from public transportation to better pay and benefits, closer to home, great community resources, education reimbursement and best of all, a significant discount into their Montessori Schools! Whoo hoo!  Still discussing that whole subject, but it's good to know it's available to us.  The only downside is PPMC is a Level 2 NICU, so I will be going a bit backward in my chances to serve folks with a bit more on there plate then mere pregnancy (SWMC is a Level 3). I do enjoy so much a successful birth for a family with loads of other medical or physical issues, but hopefully that will change in the future.

Andrew is doing great at school, midterms breathing down his back, but his internship at Flying Rhino is going well and they sure do like him!  They are giving him loads of things to do, much so because of his gifts and abilities... they are beyond an intern!

It seems that again the Good Lord has blessed us, and so much so since we moved out here!  It verifies our decision a bit more each time something grand happens.  After living in such a dark region and state of heart for 6 years, it's like Spring time all year long! Now if we could just get out of debt... ha ha ha!

The Lord blesses!

What a great report! I felt that this year was to be a year of opportunity, and the sense I had was that applied to more than just us. Apparently, it applies to the D's, too!

Thanks for the report! Keep spreading good news!
